When I first met Bruce Tisdale through Lation Fitness in Apr 08, I was extremely overweight, had high blood pressure and high cholesterol and was my doctor's nightmare.  My goal was to try to get into shape which given the above, was no small feat.  I decided to sign up for Boot Camp (with great doubts, I might say) and started in Apr 2008.  When we did "testing" I could barely do push-ups against the wall and completed a mile in 16 minutes (mostly walking as at that time I couldn't run more than 20 steps without being out of breath).  Bruce allowed me to build up my strength and endurance at my own speed and prodded me from time to time, but never made me feel inferior even though I was always way behind the rest of the group.
 
To date, with Weight Watchers and training in four 12-week Boot Camps with Bruce, I've lost 45 pounds and my cellulite, I am able to run an 8-minute 4-second mile, I am able to do 10 to 13 full military push-ups.  Furthermore, I'm complimented for my efforts and have to say that at 52 years old, I'm in better shape than I was at 22 years old.
